Q. Do you set up during our hire time?
A. No, we will arrive before the event and set up our equipment. One hour before your booked time we will arrive to heat the chocolate and lay out the dips ready to start on time with your booked chocolate flow time.
Q. How do we dip?
A. We will instruct you and your guests how to place the dips onto the skewer, dip into the chocolate and also how to eat without getting covered in chocolate. some guests can be slightly afraid to try to dip so we will dip for them.
Q. Are we limited to the number of dips for each guest?
A. No, we feel that when you hire our services your guests should be able to enjoy themselves for the full flow time that was booked. We will top up the chocolate for the length of the hire and also make sure that there are plenty of dips.
Q. Do you reuse the left over chocolate?
A. No, we never reuse chocolate. At the end of your hire time we will decant the remaining warm chocolate into a bowl and leave this along with the remaining dips and a supply of skewers and napkins for your guests to continue dipping.
Q. Will you be attending our event?
A. Yes, we would never take your booking and send along other staff. If we are busy then one of us will attend your event with a trained assistant.
Q. Does the chocolate fountain get messy?
A. There can be drips from the fountain as guests enjoy themselves but we are on hand to replenish dips and keep everything clean and tidy. We also carry wet wipes and tissues so that your guests can enjoy themselves without getting covered in chocolate.
Q. What is 'double dipping?'
A. Double dipping is the term used when guests reuse their skewer to dip a second time into the chocolate fountain. This cannot be allowed as there would be a possibility of cross contamination. We carry thousands of skewers to each function so we never run out. For guests worried about the green issue of throwing away so many skewers be assured that they are made from bamboo which is a sustainable source.
Q. Do you mind children at your fountain?
A. We love to see children dipping and tasting the chocolate. We find that children quickly learn how to dip and never to 'double dip'. Children are quick to learn and often instruct their parents in the art of chocolate dipping!
